This is a 1967 T120R Triumph Bonneville, matching numbers original paint and fasteners bike. It has been rebuilt from the crankshaft up, with an Aerco 750 kit, new monobloc carburetors, and all new engine internals. There have been about 700 miles put on the motor since rebuild. The rest of the bike has also been looked over/gone through, including a rebuild of the front end, new tires, wiring loom etc. Period 2 into 1 exhaust system. Everything works as it should although the speedometer needle started jumping around a bunch about 50 miles or so ago, and the rear brake works but is on the weak side. That being said the bike has 200 mile days on it, starts right up, is ridden regularly, and performs well.
Some interesting history about this bike is that Denny Adler had some ties to it. There are forums on britbike.com about this story. Denny was a racer under factory sponsorship (65-67) and had a shop out in Lincoln, NE. His name was engraved on the left hand case, which I choose to leave for history’s sake. However I can’t imagine it wouldn’t come out if you choose to remove it.
