I’m selling my 1972 Triumph TR6R Tiger. Need to sell some bikes before winter and get some room back.
I’ve owned this bike for 1.5 years. It was a complete restoration done 10+ years ago, and never put on the road. Completely rebuilt motor, all new parts, and an inch thick stack of receipts! I bought it and finished all the little details it needed to get back to rider status.
Clean Colorado title in my name, and it runs and rides excellent.
It is a 1972 oil in frame model. Super reliable and nice to ride. Has the awesome vented front drum brake, can’t beat the look.
It has excellent paint, and shows very well. Aftermarket gas tank with new paint. Painted fenders as well.
Motor runs excellent, starts easy, and is very strong. I installed a brand new Amal Premiere, the old Amal was clean and looked nice but never ran right. It is included if you want it. Also was never happy with original clutch pressure plate. I installed a center bolt billet pressure plate from CBS, and lighter clutch springs, and a brand new cable. Now perfect clutch feel. Also put in new shift plungers and indexed the transmission, I think it was off a tooth from the original restoration.
Installed new lithium battery, solid state voltage regulator rectifier, and brand new Pazon electronic ignition.
Runs great, ready to rock and ride anywhere. Great brakes, clutch, tires, you name it.
Has 60s style side panels, but original air box is included in nice shape, along with lots of other random parts.
